Cost Control Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control within EPC environments (preferably in sewerage, pipeline, or substation projects).

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficiency in cost control tools such as Primavera (P6), MS Excel, and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting principles.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Understanding of construction contracts and project cash flow dynamics.

Develop and maintain project cost control systems, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.

Monitor actual project expenditures against budget and prepare variance reports.

Analyze project financial performance and advise on cost optimization measures.

Support project planning, progress measurement, and resource allocation in coordination with planning and site teams.

Evaluate contractor and supplier invoices to ensure alignment with progress and contract terms.

Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and earned value analysis for management and client reporting.

Participate in project review meetings and support risk analysis related to cost overrun and delays.
